50 things about me
The
Faith to my Willow.
1: A question I’m afraid to ask, and to whom? To this girl in ballroom club: “Do you even like him or are you rebounding from your ex-boyfriend still and taking advantage of him?”
3: What’s something other people think about me that I don’t agree with? A long time ago in middle school, I was friends with this girl named Lyndsey. She told me in like ninth grade that when she first met me, she thought I would beat her up if she crossed me. This is entirely untrue. I really doubt I could beat anyone up. I’m weak as all fuck.
5: Sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me: I dunno. Earlier tonight Patricia got me some ice for my foot. That was sweet. I appreciated it.
7: What’s something sweet I’d like to do for someone? Shit. I dunno. Take them dancing? Read to them while they’re sick? Knuckle kisses and the like? Yeahhh…
8: Describe your favorite texture: I like the feeling of clean clothes the first time you put them on since they were washed. It’s sort of soft but stiff and even though you can’t hear it, you can sort of feel the fabric crinkle into the shape of your body around you. This will have to be close enough. XD
9: Which national/global tragedy was I closest to and how did it affect me? Easy. The Gabby Giffords shooting in January of 2011. I didn’t grow up in Tucson, but I do really love it here. I like the political climate, for the most part, and to hear that Congresswoman Gabby Giffords was shot, execution style, at a Safeway, was fucking horrifying. It’s amazing that she survived. Obama came and talked to us and I got in to hear his speech, and it was very comforting to the community. There was a lot of bullshit on the news about how it “wasn’t appropriate” and they mocked one of the Native American Studies professors and stuff… Ugh, it was disgusting. They did better coverage of the event on the Daily Show. But Obama’s speech was very moving. And I learned a lot about Arizonan politics in the aftermath.
15: The most difficult thing I’ve ever had to do: Probably move to Arizona. It was really scary. But I’m so glad that I did it.
34: Do I have any “rules” about food? Five second rule applies. If you aren’t sure, smell it, and if you’re still not sure, go for it.
